God at the Movies

Every couple of years, Hollywood seems to remember that there is an entire audience that is being underserved-- Christians. Once one studio remembers, several more follow. Currently in theaters we have the Bible-Story Blockbuster (Noah,) the TV mini-series extension (Son of God) and the little engine that could (God's Not Dead.) Some movies hit the nail on the head while others fumble with the truth. It seems like the key to a Christan movie's success is the people behind it. One movie (Noah) has an athiest as the director while a movie coming out May 6th, have Focus on the Family behind it- so which sounds better?

If you've listened to Focus recently, you've heard about Irreplaceable. This one-day movie event is the first in a series of feature-length documentaries that will approach the concept of the family from a number of different angles. The goal of each documentary is to recover, renew and reclaim the cultural conversation about the family. This is a movie that is trying to make a difference, not just trying to make a buck.

Irreplaceable is in theaters nationwide on May 6th and May 6th only. That's right, ONE NIGHT. So keep that date open and learn more about Irreplaceable here. Then get tickets here!
